Powerheads!

I need a powerhead for my tank and i have never really been looking for a powerhead untill now. i was looking up on it on the internet and i found the smallest powerhead to be 40$! WHAT!? what makes powerheads so expensive? arent they just an underwater propeller? were can i find one cheaper? help?

Agreed, need one for my 55g as the water has alot of bits floating around (stats are fine though).
I've seen some cheap ones around the UK but they're mostly massive and pretty ugly looking imo lol.

Yeah the branded ones can be a bit pricey, look at vortechs if you wanna fall off your chair, but like Ian suggested above, unbranded ones are fine. I got mine from a member on here for £15, but have only seen one since
