It depends on what you wish to keep I would say most probably not idedlly you need 20 times flow

so you need to look for about 7000lph

K2s dependant on model do 2300each totaling 4600lph

I would look at an vortech mp40 if budget allows it if not then 2 x Hydor Koralia Evolution 4000 should do the job.

I cant speak for vortech as I have never used them but I do have 2 koralia's and I can highly recommend them.

2 korallia 2 wouldnt be enought. but two of the bogger models would. korallias are a good pump and the reccomendation for aiming at 20X the tank volume in flow is correct. use this as a miniumim. what are you going to be keeping in this tank?

the vortech pump are awesome just really expensive.

thanks guys i am going 2 be keeping.

2 x clown fish
1 x regal tang
1 x clean up crew
1 x bangai cardinal ( maybe 2 )
1 x flame dartfish
2 x anemones
1 x black spine sea urchin
1 x goby (unsure which one 2 get tho lol)
and selectoin of polyps and other softies

the regal tang would quickly outgrow that sized tank and stress itself out aswel as bully its tank mates.

usually one anenome per tank aswel. what lighting will be on this btw?

2 x t8 marine white and 1 x actinic blue 30 inch 25 watt. would a malu anemone be ok?

have u guys got any pics of ur tanks?
:hyper:

nope it wouldnt im afraid!

malus are one of the most light demanding anenomes and ideally want to be under halides. i wouldnt keep any anenome under that lighting!

this is my 3rd tank...no water in at the minute though

I'm sure what Ben meant was that only one type of anemone per tank or warfare can start and it's not pretty
