My mom asked me to disable all the computers and tvs in our house, because my brother has been behaving very badly. The tvs were no problem the ones with dish I just locked certain channels and anything rated PG and up. The tvs with cable I just disconnected and unpluged. Now with the computers I'm a little stumped my dad's "Office" computer is all torn apart and has the front and side panels off. So, it is hard to turn on cuz the power button is very tiny and hard to find. So I don't think I have to do anything to disable it. Our other computer "daycare" is the main one we use. I have found that both computers have power switches on the upper back of the computers. When the office computer is turned off it still has lights that are on inside of it. When I flip the switch on the back of the computer all these lights go out. So far, doing this has confused by brother and he can't figure out how to get the computers to work, but I'm wondering if completely cutting the power to the computers will harm them in anyway?

thanks,

He is 14 I think, lol. He refused to go to school on Friday, because it was a shortened day and pepfest of all things. I did eventually take him in two hours late and he also had the SIM card taken out of his phone .

Thanks,

Turn on BIOS password... impossible to access windows or anything when activated and turn off when he's sorted.

TO acess press delete just after turning on the PC and search the BIOS setting.

I tried that but nothing happened, it might be because my dad has admin rights on this computer. He is the only one who can mess with stuff like that and install programs. It's kinda funny the computer tries to automatically download and install updates in programs every time you turn it on(because that is what he told it to do). Only to give you a error message that says you don't have authorization to do this.

BIOS is nothing to do with windows, it's the basic commands that make the computer work, then you first turn on the computer you get a black screed with gray/white text with in 5-10 seconds of turning it on at the button is says, "press Del to enter Bios"
Or if you have pic come up at first it may say "Press Tab to view Bios"
How ever by about 20 seconds after turning on you have missed the chance to enter BIOS so if nothing else turn on and keep pressing Del till it works.

Unplug the power cord from the back of the computer & the wall. Hide it.
