Power center

I recently bought a new light system and I am waiting for it to arrive. I was thinking about getting a Coralife power center. I was wondering if it is worth spending the money on?

yes, they are, there very nice. i just have a simple timer for my Metal halides since all i have is 1 light, but if ihad anticnics and etc. i would have that unit. otherwise for my pumps and etc i just have powercords...

Okay Cool...dumb question but im not totally sure. With the single timer does that mean I can only run it on my lights? or can I run my power heads along with it too? or it that what the double timer is for?

my single timer basically has one plug in, i run 1 ballast which runs 2 x 250 watt MH.

my powerheads stay on all the time, altouhg i have been looking into purchasing the this extension cord with timers built in for wavemakers.

i think wih that power center, you can program that to turn powerheads on and off and etc. just your choice, i liekd the idea of having a seperate unit for my powerheads so i could just program my MH in and let them go...
