Powder head filters

Is it true that powerhead filters fit on the UGF uplift tubes? and does one size fit all tubes? The only reason im asking is i want to put a power head filter on my uplift tubes in my coldwater aquarium to create more water flow/tubulance

Bigfish, yes power heads sit on top of your your upflow tube on your under gravel. They usually have a suction cup or some way to keep it in place and then it sucks the water up the tube. I had one on mine for the longest time until I went to sand substrate and there I couldnt use and UGF. They also work as great disfussers for CO2 if you ever decide to have a co2 set up.
Just make sure you get one for the size of your tank, as a big one will cause waves and too much turbulance....lol

les is right and i only have one thing to add and thats most of them fit all types of ugf they have a sort of cone thing on the bottom where they are attaced to the uplift tube.
