hello i have malawis and i have now 3 babies of Powder Blue/Pindani (Pseudotropheus socolofi ) how many young do they produce at one time and also are the female a totally different colour ie: beige & brown mottled ? sorry for been so naive on this but i haven't been keeping malawis for long.

How many fry the females can hold IME depends on how old the female is and her experience. My mbuna average 9 to 40 eggs, the 9 from the smaller l.caeruleus the 40 from the larger p.acei.
Male and female p.socolofi are identical, powder blue body with dark stripes on the fins.
