Is it just me or does anyone else disagree with this, I can imagine fish getting thrown around in packages especially via Royal Mail or is there any special way of posting I am not aware of, even so to me it just doesn't seem right.

not supposed to send fish through royal mail, however providing you pack them correct the fish come to little harm when being posted

Heres a good one, I was looking at a web site offering postage of fish, and my wife asked how they can do it.
what fun I had for a day or two telling her that as the packets would get too wet they can put the fish in suspension in a special jelly, then when it is put in the tank the jelly disolves and the fish comes back to life. brilliant wind up. try it.

Your humour sounds just like my husbands and I always fall for it.

The reason for the comments were because in the sale section of this site someone was talking about sending some fish via Royal Mail, if it is done be a specialist...fine but to me it sounds cruel if not done properly.

I've always been dubious about posting fish or receiving posted fish. Just doesn't feel right to me.

I've recieved snails, corals and crabs by post before for my SW tank and all arrived alive and well :good:

Got some concolor corys coming this friday through royal mail, i'll post some pics of how they are packaged if you like
