the way the last of these post worked is that the maker starts it, and then someone else posts and rates above, and then someone else rates, and each time there was a new tank and a new owner, and once in a while someone would post another diff tank.

Whenever you comment, you aven;t left photos in a lot of post so it messes up the synergy and the mindset of the whole thing in my opinion. That's just me. A lot of other people still enjoy it, but the interaction is supposed to be everyone in this kind of thread, not a circus ring leader, am I not right?

I give the BGK a 9, as I love them, but photo wise it's an 8. Try to get him standing up.
And enough making a fool out of myself, why not present a different fish of mine...

after dominant accuratcy with my camara i came up with many of blanks but now i hav the best picture
i could get of my rosey red gourami. its not the best picture in the world but i like it

he is the male as you can see his top fin is spiked at the end

If I'm totally honest,I can't take credit for her condition.I bought a pair a few days ago and they were all beautiful colourful specimens in the shop.The only real difference between her and her fella is her slightly pink belly and the fact that she's a bit smaller.
I'm new to them tbh,I'm sure there are other ways to tell.

are they rare these type of plecs or are they easy to get hold of from lfs's.
if they are easy to get how much are they.
heres my male ram ive only had him for a day and already he is showing signs of colouration.
on his top fin there is a bil red line on the top of his fin have a look.

I'd never seen one before until my sister brought him home for me from a fish shop in Leeds. But apparently, after your commons/gibbies/bristlenoses, they're one of the most common plecs in LFS nowadays. Just not in my local one LOL.

I think he was about £7 or £8. But he was only like maybe 2" max including tail when I got him last July. He's now 6 or 7" with tail. He should get to 10-12", but for some reason he's slowed right down growth wise, despite being in a 6 x 2 x 2ft tank with very low nitrates.
