Possible White Spot On Single Clown Loach

Hey guys and girls, I have a problem with one of my clown loaches.

I had not seen him in a couple of days, then on the Sunday i saw him, his body was covered in white spots, although not pin point spots like you normally see. They are more blurred and larger.
These are the best photos I could get of him.

It is only this one fish, the others are healthy and show no signs of white spot. I have done two doses of anti-white spot, one every 48 hours. Also increased the temp to 27C however am not noticing any reductions in spots. I have added some disease treatment and melaflix.

I don't know if this makes any difference but the clown tail is clear, no spots.

Anyone have any ideas? much appreciated

How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Any signs of flicking and rubbing.
How many meds are in the tank as it sound like 3.

Tank is 200L. Stocking:

1x Red Tail Shark
1x Siamese Flying Fox
1x Angel fish (small)
1x Catfish
1x Common Plec
1x Golden nugget plec
2x Mollies
4x Cherry Barbs
6x Golden Barbs
2x Rams
3x Clown Loaches (temp)
2x Dwarf Guarmies

Stats as shown:

I think ammonia is .25 and the nitrates are pretty high. I am shocked they are that high, I do a 25% water change every Saturday/Sunday

3 meds is right, melaflix, white spot and disease treatment. I added the disease treatment because I didn't notice a decrease in the white spot over the 3 days. Not sure why I added melaflix.

I am going to do a 30% water change now.

Your tanks overstocked.
Added to many meds so I would do a water change and run some black carbon.
What does the other med treat.

It\s hard to make out in the pic but does it look like the fish has been dusted in talc.
How big would you say the spots were.

This is pretty much normal behaviour for clown loaches, mine do it all the time, I'm used to it now.

The stocking is something i will be looking at, keep your eyes peeled in the classified section
I done a 35% water change and added the black carbon back to the filter. Also added a full does of stress zyme and stress coat.

The disease treatment is from pets at home and it is for 'most bacterial and fungal infections'
As for the spots I would say on average they are about 2/3mm, It does look like he has been lightly dusted in talc. Almost like he has scabbed over lightly, like when you get the light scab on a heeling tattoo.

Got some better pictures. Since the water change he has eaten some food, first time i have seen him do that since last Saturday.

A light dusting of talc normally velvet.
Turn tanks lights out and shine a torch on the fish to see you can see anything golden that shines up.

It dson't look like whitespot.
Also if the fish isn't rubbing himself and other fish are not affected it dosn't sound like whitespot.

Never mix med.
You overdosed with meds.

For now just do some water changes and run some black carbon to get all the meds out of the tank.

If things get worse get back to the board.

Shined a torch on him in the dark and nothing golden, although with the direct light, his 'skin' is bumpy, the white dots are raised slightly.

I will do another water change tomorrow evening and keep an eye on the loach. Thanks for your help with this.

Do you have an issolation tank.

If no fish are flicking and rubbing and no other fish affected it could be bacterial.

It looks like someone been splashing him with paint. Paint type marks can be columnaris.

If that is the case, how would I treat it? With the disease treatment? Would this be hard to treat?

I would wait till colin takes a look and see what he thinks. I've pm him for you.
For now I would concentrate on water changes to get all the meds out of the tank.
