Possible Pairing? (Adultish Angel Fish)

I have in my tank an Adult Angel fish and then recently got 2 of an unknown age which are marginally smaller than my large Angel. Since introduction my large angel, at first seemed to be very agressive towards them, however now, one of the Angels seems to spend a lot of time with my larger angel. The larger angel also seems to have become very agressive towards other fish in the tank including some chasing of Gouramis, I even saw him chase a danio!.

However, he also seems to occassionally bump this other Angel that is stalking him, although never seems to have his mouth open and doesnt seem to be too intent on doing major damage...

Very possible pairing imo. The knocking each other is typical pairing behaviour.

I think it must be a pairing. Found a load of eggs laid on my algae scraper today.. parents working their socks off to keep the other fish away!! (and me! I was trying to remove the snails from on the scraper and he went for my finger in a crazy way!!)

Yeah they can be very aggressive when breeding. And most cichlids will go for the owner when the chance occurs...
