Does this look like old dying leaves to you or could this be nutrient deficiency? This is on my amazon sword plant, which is a heavy root feeder to my understanding. Should I give them another Seachem root tab? They have/had the same root tab since the end of august (2023), maybe they've just used all of the nutrients?
Any insights or ideas are appreciated! ^_^

If it is just one or two leaves, let it go. The Seachem Flourish Tabs are good every three months. And I assume you have had these longer than just acquiring them; older leaves often weaken and die when the plant is moved from emersed to submersed growth.

Hello. Swords like longer hours of daylight. If you have your tank lights on a timer, set it for 12 hours on and 12 off. Use a fertilizer with iron. Swords are iron lovers. If you have leaves that are discolored or otherwise don't look healthy, remove them. You don't want the plant using energy on a spent leaf. Routine plant trimming is a good thing. It will stimulate new growth.
