Thank you Deanasue! I have learnt from the very best of course (yourself)! I also agree with the advice provided about too many water changes. The only reason I did not mention this myself is because I am one who is also guilty of getting a bit to happy with water changes... Water changes are only necessary when ammonia or nitrites appear or if there are infrequency in levels of PH/GH. I would follow any advice Deanasue provides she is a lot more experienced than myself and has a number of beautiful tanks set up. Always happy to also help and excellently advice me also. Keep us posted we are more than happy to help. Good luck :)
I’m so glad to have someone else here who doesn't disagree with everything I say. Lol!

If it is fungus then yes it is contagious.
Fungus isn't contagious, but it will infect any fish with damaged tissue. Quite often poor water quality will affect a number of fish in the tank and they develop it in the damaged areas.

I bought some API fin and body cure that has doxycycline
Doxycycline is an anti-biotic that kills bacteria (including filter bacteria) and does not affect fungus, yeast, viruses or anything else. It was designed to treat bacterial infections in people and should only be used on fish with a known bacterial infection that has not responded to normal fish medications.

I can't tell anything from the pictures.

I didn’t know it wasn’t contagious thanks for confirming.
