It is a neat looking plec. Too big for my tanks.

I prefer the smaller B&W Hypans. I think the odds of spawning the blue eyes is not very good and the cost is way more than I would pay for something from which I can't have a shot at getting some fry.

I agree, but I wanted this pleco for many, many years, and I finally had the opportunity.

Here is my most favorite pleco, I've had this one for an entire year...has doubled in size

Wow! your second pleco, how/where did you get it? None of my local fish stores have any good pleco stock.
