Poor Little Kitty..

So I was at work about 1 am, and looking for some parts in the forklift service area at work (I'm a millwright at a local saw mill) and a hear this horrid noise coming from the oil change pit.

Well, climb down there (about an 8' drop) and find a 4 week old kitten behind a barrel... 6" over and she would have landed in a 55 gallon drum of waste oil.. not real sure how she got in the shop, or how she fell down there... but shes pretty darn spoiled now..

Awww. She looks like she's very appreciative and in surprisingly good shape considering her early ordeal. She may need supplemental formula for a little bit, if she's as young as four weeks. If she's got teeth, though, you can probably start her right of on a good quality canned kitten food and then switch her to dry if that is your wish.

Ohh she certianly has teeth.. and claws. (owwie)

Shes been to the vet, other than some fleas (which she managed to share with all three dogs...grrrr) and ear mites shes in pretty good shape. weighs in at a whopping 3/4 of a pound (slightly less than my dogs tongue I suspect) She has some supplements, and is eating canned food quite happily already. ALmost has the hang of the litter as well..
