When I was reading your post I noticed you only have one dwarf hamster, they are supposed to be kept in pairs. Did you have two then one died or something?

The reason why I only have one is because it is a male. We tryed putting him in with a another male at the place where we got him but... it didnt work out to well. They started fighting and it wasnt pretty. And we cant put a female with him cause... well you know, we dont want more animals around here!

I've always had loads of pets too - my parents were animal mad so I grew up in a house with cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, a tortoise (it came walking up our garden path one day and nobody claimed him!), zebra finches, loads of hamsters (they were my personal favourite) and of course, fish.

I now live in a house where I'm not allowed pets so all I have is my fish and a rabbit (the landlord gave in but I don't want to take the mickey!!).

My in laws keep dogs, goats & shetland ponies so I get some more animal fun at the farm at weekends!!

We had two males dwarf hamsters together as well, but they fought all the time until one started to draw blood, so we seperated them.

Can you imagine if we all got together with all of our animals? It would be like Noah and the Ark!

3 of my kids and 3 of hubby's kids who are here on weekends
If I had the money and space, I would probably have more! (pets, not kids!!!)

Yes I would love to have more pets too!!! I may be getting another guinea pig!!! His name is rodney and my friend may have to give him away and I will take him if they do!!!!!! We are getting a bigger cage for one of our rabbits charlie and charlies old cage would become his.

its good to see so many people who love there animals

we have 2 dwarf male hamsters, they lived in a 3ft tank for about 2 months until one drew blood from the other so now they have a 24x12x15 tank each , we also have 2 Yorkshire terriers named Toby and Cindy, Toby is 14 years old and runs rings round dogs half his age, our vet says he's never seen a dog so old look and act so young , we also have the 180ltr tank with 29 fish , i would love to get some guinea pigs but we don't have the room at the moment

I love Yorkshire terriers, my papa has one. They are cute dogs!
