Well I have decide too start a pond :) I was wanting a 300 gallon and was going too go look at Lowes for frames for the pond b/c I was clear water .....I noticed a from for a 100 gallon was about 90$ anyone else know any good places too look in the U.S. ???? Will gold fish spawn in ponds generally or is it not that common ?? I was planning on just feeder commets too start they are 88 cents a dozen here it's a good chance too experiment also winter is coming so I figured goldfish were my only choose if anytime soon ...... What should I feed them ?? Just gold fish pellets for ponds I figured but I didn't know .... I'm thinking of putting some sailfins in the next spring and see what happens ... What could I feed them ?? Also any suggestins on cheap substrate cedecor. exct. for a pond I would like

home depo might have something.
my goldfish spawned in mine without any help from me
just feed them pellets, u might have to crush the pellets up for them until they r big enough to eat whole ones. also if u happen to see a rolly polly go by it doesnt hurt to throw it in for the fish
I never bought any substrate, but a bag of pebbles from home depo would work. make sure its for ponds tho, if it isnt check for any harmful chemicals in it and if non r found u need to wash it still.
I lined the back of my pond with assorted rock sizes and then put plants behind them(i think ferns type plants look best). also i added some rocks throughout the pond(works great if u put caryfish in). with those premade pond liners u can usualy find premade water falls that attach(home depo ones do)

be careful when putting ur pond under a tree, it may look ideal but falling leaves makes maintainence tougher, putting it near it is a better idea(not directly in the path of the leaves)

and sry i dont no much about sailfins

A roly poly is also known as a pill bug or a sow bug. Children in the USA like to play with them because they tickle when crawling on your hand and roll into a little ball like a hedgehog? does when threatened.

 When you're age 3, or 2, or 1? Yeah, it's amazing what little kids will put in their mouths. My mom always had to clean out my pockets before doing the laundry as I liked to collect all the snails in the yard and take them for a ride in my play wheelbarrow. The ones who wouldn't stay in were put in "time out" in my pockets! LOL!!! Thankfully my culinary tastes are MUCH more discerning at 44! And no, to this day I refuse to try insects, snails, etc. of any kind...:p
