Pond Pump And Filter Questions:

I currently have a Laguna Pressure-Flo 1400 filter with a submersible pump that pumps 560 gph.

--What is the minimum size pond needed to accommodate these devices?

There is no minimum, just a maximum. You could run that in a 5 gal bucket if you wanted.

is there a possibilty that the current in a smaller pond would affect fish too much?

it's been awhile since i've been on.


++Well i currently have a 100 gallon stock tank with a couple of small koi in it (estimated 3-4 in)
but to deal with the strong current, i devised a jug with holes in it that the outtake hose empties the filtered water into and then trickles out of into the tank.
