Well, you may know I have a Pomeranian named Cici (see avitar). A co-worker of my sister's told her about a neighbor who had a little boy Pom. He's another cream/sable, same age, and the neighbors were looking to give him away. They paid $1000 for him! One of those situations when people buy a dog cause it's cute and all and then it starts chewing, losing hair (Poms do that when they're puppies), and peeing everywhere, and they realize that a dog isn't such a great idea. My mom and sister were concerned and wanted to see the dog. Turns out he's really, really sweet, and is peeing everywhere because the previous owners didn't bother fixing him. He hasn't had really any training, which is unfortunate because he seems to be a great little dog. He's also a little over-weight. Long story short, we now have another Pom! Cici has a little brother, named Charlie.
I don't have any pictures yet. They are going to take him to the vet within the week and if he has all of his boosters, he'll get fixed. Then he'll undergo some serious pad, crate, and obedience training, same school Cici went through. In addition a diet is in order since I would prefer that his weight be under control. He is adjusting to life with my family pretty well. I don't think his previous owners were very affectionate with him and my family's super-affectionate and great for taking on this little guy. He really needed a good home.
It'll take Cici and Charlie a little while to get used to eachother. They'll formally meet in May when I move back to Miami, and I'll make sure the transition is as smooth as possible. As soon as my family gets a picture, they'll send me one. This is very exciting and I'm happy for Cici since she'll have a playmate.
I just wanted to share. I'll post a picture of Charlie as soon as I get one. Thanks for reading.
