if i wanna get a decent, cheap filter for like under water in my tank, what kind should i get, where can i get one online?

As sole filtration, or combined with another filter? By under water do you mean an internal filter?

If its for your piranha tank invest in a powerful external filter such as any external fluval or eheim filter, they are top class IMO, buy a powerhead for current aswell

Then you think wrong my friend, thats why there is less chance of cannibalism with a shoal if they are well fed, correct space and of similar size.

just wanna know what would happen if i take one of my reds outta the tank for a second to look at it more closely and measure it? would it stilll be okay, would you advise doing or not doing that?


also any ideas on whats unique and interesting to feed reds?

I wouldnt advise that, I wouldnt advise taking any fish out of its tank if its not necessary and thats when your likely to get bit.

erm theres no unique things, just feed them cod fillets, prawns, squid, mussel etc, any white fleshed sea food is fine. As a treat though, you could give some chicken or beefheart etc. Only once or twice a month though as mammal meat is very fatty!
