HELP, My polar parrot cichlids have recently laid eggs for the first time. They’re now wrigglers. How long do I keep them with parents before separating them? Or do they need to stay with parents.

I have a very small angelfish also in the tank will this be an issue or will the parrots protect the fry.

Thanks

Leave the babies with the parents until the babies no longer go back to them at night. This will be in about a month.

The angelfish might try to eat the babies, which won't be bad because there could be several hundred babies and you won't be able to sell them all. Most shops only take 10-20 at a time. The parents might kill the angelfish depending on how big the tank is. If the angelfish has space to get away it should be ok, but in a small tank the parents will go after anything in their territory.
