I'm new but could have sworn I've sent Pms on here before. Now when im trying it just says error and i cant find my messages, has something changed?

Because of issues with spammers, we have had to institute a minimum number of posts before members can use the PM system. The issue we had was with people joining and using spam bots to send out thousands of spam PMs to members. Sorry for any inconvenience.

If I remember right it's 10 posts.

I was right, it's 10.

last night we had a porn attack from somebody whom was sending links via PM to innocent members of the forum.

admin have set the board so that you need to rack up 10 posts before being able to use the PM system (applies to newbies only)

if you havent posted since this rule was set, you will not be able to access your inbox, you will need to post first.

Sorry to bump an old (ish) thread but I'm trying to send a pm, as you can see I have 14 posts and its still giving me the error: "You are not allowed to use the messenger feature on this board" Any ideas?
