i refer you to this thread that should handle most of your questions. Also females can and do build nests. Check to make sure she has the "egg tube" why would they not have the same ability, they have the same basic stuff the male does  anyways I hope that helps you with your betta breeding and good luck. If you have any questions not answered in that pinned topic please feel free to ask. Someone will get some sort of answer to you.

Females often help build a bubble nest with the male.
i think it maybe time to release her into the tank.
The thing with females you need to be looking at her body and see stripes like this ===== down the side, when she is ready to spawn then you should be looking for stripes like this lllllll with a darker background. But also remember that a female betta always carry's some eggs even if she isn't in condition and can still spawn.

people often enhance the point that they need to be seperated at first always, well not on my watch they don't,i've had proberbly most success with betta's out of all the other egg layers i've bred and on more than half the occasions i have had most success i have never used a jar or divider just a big tank a low water level a hight temp and lots of hiding spaces ,thats it ,oh and very clean water.

That said getting them to spawn is easier than raising the fry.
Always remember the air between the water and the lid should be warmer than the water itself.otherwise the eggs will proberbly never hatch!

hi , thanks alot for rollntider and wolfie33 for ur care and replying me , thanks alot .

thanks again rollntider , about the stripes i can't see them but because that the light in that tank is not good. The bubble nest of the male is now thick but he still add bubbles to it , do u think that it is a good time to release the female now or i have to wait

usually what i do with my spawns is that i leave the female in her chimney overnight (usually over 12 hours), and the next morning i should see a lovely bubble nest built by teh males.

so far all my females are light colored, so i haven't bothered looking for barring signs. I'm not a true beleive of waiting until the female is "plump" either becuaes frankly i just can't tell the difference  once i see that the male seems to have a nice nest going, i release the female, and typically the male will flare at her and chase her around.

This could be a few hours, eventually he starts swimming in an S formation under his nest, attempting to get the feamle to come under the nest with him. I ntoiced that if he female apporahces he nest he'll swim in an S shape even more, and if the female agrees she will do the same thing, and embracing would start shortly after.

How long have you kept hte female in the hcimney in the males tank? if he has a nest going i would try and release her, you could always put her back in the hcimney if you feel that there is too much aggression. But try not to intervene unless you really have to, or if the female is being badly injured.

also note that after hte eggs are layed and you have removed the female, be sure to leaves ome kind of nightlight or something during te night for hte male so he can see any fallen eggs

Run on sentence!

Anywho...
Do you have all of your research done as far as handling the fry and such? It's alot harder then it seems...

thanks for all ur replies , thanks for cutecotton , rollntider , ~FairyAngelFish~ and betta_lova . actually i did release her this morning and i wish that i didn't , in the first when i released her they were calm for less than minut standing near each other and suddenly the fight starts i don't know why they did that . the first move was for the male and then all the rest was for the female , do u believe that the female who cause much damage to the male . i first wait to see if that is just in the begining but they didn't stop , i can't describe how the fight exactly but they was catching each other from the mouth and they rotate in a slow move and it seems that every one want to remove the other mouth and when they stop that the male try to rotate under her body but she catch him by her mouth from his face and this thing coutinue for an hour untill i find the male face is badly injured so i deciede to remove her from the tank and i put her to a jar and keept it away from the tank and i catch the male and i put him in another jar and i leave the two jars close to the other female which i will start conditioning her untill the male heal from his injured . that what happend i hope that the male will not die she just lose some fins but the male there is a cut in his face. now tell me what u think about what happend , thanks for ur care

Err

I sound dumb here but maybe shes not a female but a PLAKAT. Plkats are born to fight maybe thats why they fight and its not normal for the boy to get his Tail kicked..

i agree, you're sure she is actually a she? :/

soemtimes females can kick the male's ass very very badly but it deosnt' happen often. I'm afraid you'll have to break the spawn and treat both parties as the male does seem badly injured :/

(please try to add periods and paragraphs to your post :))
