thanks ill look for it and another question if you dont mind, i just come back from my lfs about 2 hours ago, i just bought a male dwarf gourami, hes in the tank now but im now seeing little fry in the corner of my tank which looks like red tail sharks, theres 4 of them and they have black bodies and red tails, at the lfs the gouramis were housed in a 90 gallon with rts, what should i do about the fry?

iv never had gourami's or sharks so i cant help much ... breeders net maybe? or something like that? ... sorry i cant be of much help

i would love to keep the sharks, seeing as i got them for free sorta, but can i house them in a 39 gallon? im not sure and i dont think they will get on with 2 convicts, i think im going to have to re house these convicts, anyone want to take them off my hands?

it might be Zucchini i dont know for the veg (sorry its not purple)

Where did the fry come from?

i dont know i thought i saw little things in the bag but i thought it was nothing

If they really are RTBS, then grow them on and sell them; I honestly doubt it though; RTBS don't breed in tanks; they spawn them in the Far East with hormone injections.

I suspect they're livebearer fry of some kind; probably Endler's by the sounds of the colours, but could be any one of them (guppies/mollies/swordtails/platies)

There's so little nutrition in cucumber, it's hardly worth feeding it. Try; sweet potato, carrot, peas (all these need to be lightly cooked and the peas shelled), mango, apple, courgette, scalded lettuce, tomato (end slice with no seeds).

iv got a question? ... should u feed your plec's... my oto's seem to be doing ok on algae and theres wood in the tank ? any suggestions of what else they should be fed?

is there much point in algae wafers if my tanks got quite allot of algae in it? seems a waste of money to me? unless they get a different type of algae from them?

If your tank has loads of algae in it, then you are doing something wrong, people dont generally start up a fish tank and say "WOOHOOO ALGAE, YES!!"

and yes, algae wafters will contain a lot more nutrients and vitamins as they are purpose made to feed your fish.

its not got alot in it but its got enough to feed them happly iv got 5 in a 120l tank so algae growth is about the same as they eat i guess?
