Plecs And Plants

Almost any fruit or veg, raw or very lightly cooked, can be fed to plecs. I wouldn't use potato, because of the starch, but pretty much anything else is fine :)
 
what sort of plec is it ? some eat wood, but some types of wood i think dont go down aswell, some eat meat. most like veg and algae wafers.

True bogwood is the best for those that eat wood, I have also had oak work well. Mopani and red moor wood didn't go down too well.
 
Some species of common pleco are known to be plant eaters, the only thing which may work is a permanent food source in the tank (slow rotting food, which is replaced on a daily basis: for example, courgette).
