I have a community tank which is getting a bit of algae now, i used to have a few amano shrimp, but they seemed to have dissapeared, so i was wondering if i could get a bristlenose plec even though i have 2 afd frogs, are they ok together? my substrate is sand...... do bristlenoses eat both green and brown algae??? thanx

a male BN may just give you problems, but i cant see any issues other than that.

i had a common plec (7") and 2 x ADF so it should be ok.
common no problem, female BN the same BN males can be quite aggressive. not sure how relevant that is, but its worth knowing. keep an eye on the ph it seems BN's like slightly acidic water. though 7 is in the upper range for the BN, it should be ok.
