Why not consider getting a different species of pleco? You can find them to grow a to a maximum size of anythwere from a few cm to a meter or so.

thanks for the link twotankamin and by the way ive seen that before too.and fluttermouth thanks for the advise ill be sure to check and see the tank with water in it too! by the way about getting a different species of pleco is there any plecos that look the same as common plecos? i realy like all the detail and look of the common pleco! thanks.
