Plecos With Cichlids

hi does anyone have any suggestions on wot algee eating pleco i can put in with my cichlids.

What kind of cichlids and what's the size of the tank?

the only pleco that will do any effective algea eating and hold its own in a malawi setup is a bristle nose

i have a 4ft 220 litre setup with lake malawi and tanginikan cichlids ( mbuna and haps ). aulunocara, calvus, kipuma sp hongi, borelyi, blue ventralis, yellow labs, afras and lwanda peacocks

Bristle Noses are prob the only Plecs that are suitable.

Common Plecs would get too big.
And the "fancy" Plecs need much softer water with a lower ph.

if you want fancy over functional l200 need similar params to malawis but wont clean much algea
