Finally got the Pleco tank up and running and they love it!
The trouble is they love it that much we hardly see the Plecos now. :/
Managed to get a few pics to share though.

Unfortunately the other Plecos weren't ready for their close up so I'll post pics when they are.

Hey, great tank. The way the light falls on the background....awsome :good:

Bah, rite the next time i have to gut the main tank its getting a structured background, they look amazing, really sets the tank off.

Plus love the pics of the Plecs :)

nice tank love the plecs (what i can see of them) just for a suggestion would some like tetras be good to watch during the day while he plecs are hiding

Thankyou everyone for the nice comments.
Unfortunately, I couldn't get a great picture of the tank as it looks quite dark in the photo. I'm going to have to get the other half to take better photos!
Jarcher-We've got 10 Ticto Barbs and 6 Pentazona Barbs at the moment which are nice and active. We haven't decided which other fish to get but I do quite like Bleeding Heart Tetras.

That bristle nose sure looks a lot like m L168 flounder pleco when he's stressed, like when I cleaned tank yesterday and took his bogwood away for the 25.....

Uhm.... great tank. If you really want to concentrate on bot seeing and perhaps breeding plecs, it probably would have been best to go with slate cave. Not near as stunning as what you have, but for seeing fish, all you'd need is maybe a flash light

looking at the tanks its great lovely setup :good: why dont u try having somthing inside the lid if poss,i mean do u have glass sliding trays to stop fish jumping out cos what ive done is put some old filter gravel trays in top which obviously blocks out the light in a certain part of the tank which makes it shady thus bringing out the twilight fish....in my tank its a plec a hoplo n red tailed shark....it seems to work a treat

Thanks for the nice comments!
Gankutsuou - definitely a Bristlenose, I posted pictures on here before and we determined he was a BN!
We haven't any plans on breeding, just like having a collection of Plecos.
Believe it or not, there is slate in the tank, we've just hidden it all with bogwood.
Nelly - We are planning on putting a couple of moonlights in the tank, just haven't picked them up yet.
Sadly, I'm terrible with the camera so I'm going to get my other half to take some decent pics!

Great tank and plecs. :good:

I sometimes wish I had made my tank plec only with few mid swimmers but then realised I couldn't live without my corys!!

I then thought shall I go cory only and thought..........hhhhmmmmmmmm, I'd miss my plecs!! :shout:

Thats a great looking tank. Love the plecs too. I've been trying to get a small pleco for ages but cant find an lfs near me that sells or will get any 'Ls'.

Btw, Ive got group of bleeding hearts and theyre quite shy too. they hang around the back of all the plants and fly out when theres food on the go. So if youre looking for something to watch maybe not, or maybe if theres little place to hide in your tank.
