Pleco seems to have burnt skin

I wish i had a digi cam so i could take a pic, when i bought my leo plec last week i noticed that the coloration on his back is kinda fading i didn't worry cause he doesn't look like he's sick, but ever since i started using Quick Cure for Ich (cause my Clown loach has a couple of spots) his colors seems to fade more and is spreading and to make matters worst when i was transferring him to my big tank he jump out of the net and fell on the floor . Now i'm really concern if he's going to make it through the night. what should I do to save this guy? He doesn't have any Ich on him right now but i'm worried that he may spread this disease to my new tank

stop using the med unless a #### load of fishes has it.


I got my first outbreak of ich, used some med and killed 3 fishes and still not cured. I then turn up the temperature with daily water change and it went away.

My 2nd ich outbreak, I just turn up the temperature and it went away.

My suggestion to you: turn up the heater to 80~85 and leave the med alone.
