I have interests in a few plecs -

Golden nugget

Zebra

Para

Tiger and

green spot

How are each of these as community plecs? I've read that zebra's don't get along with other bottom dwellers?

I'd quite like a plec of this sort of size range but don't know which is best for my current setup.

Your help and advice will be greatly appreciated :good:

GN.... £20-£50 dependant on size
zebra.... £60-£250 dependant on size and sex
para... £30-60 dependant on size
tiger?.. L02 or £66 or even in fact 134?.... cheapest would be the 02.. 66 about 15-50 dependant on size and sex, 134... 15-40 dependant on size
green phantom.... £20-£60 dependant on size.

whats the current stock, tank size?..... basically the zebra isn't really suitable for a community tank, some will say yes others will say no due to them been quite timid and shy and don't compete well for food.

the others are basic choice, all get to different sizes...

king tiger around 6 inch, green phantom can get to 8 inches, 002 about 6 inches if i remember correctly, para about 8 inches.

Prices will differ from place to place so giving a price is a little vague tbh ;)

Are the clowns and chains aggressive feeders/greedy feeders?, basically i think the tank is to small for clown loach apart from that there isn't anything in the tank which would affect any of the plecs mentioned.

At this point it would leave for you to do research on each individual plec and it's requirements, they require different tank conditions, some need to be ideally kept in the low 80's where as some of your other fish may not tolerate these kind of temps long term.
