Pleco Id

I was just wondering if u could give me a rough estimate of what this pleco was. I was at petco earlier today, and saw this really pretty pleco. I couldnt find the tag for it so I asked the guy in the fish department what it was. He told me it was a common pleco. Well of course it wasnt, it was light brown and skinny. It was not a common. What do u suppose it was?

Common plecs (liposarcus pardalis) range from black, to greenish, to brown. There are also the chocolate albino variants which sound like what you're describing. Here's my old baby one:
