Pleco For A 100Litre Tank?

Breeding pair of WILD CAUGHT Zebra Pleco's currently for sale at Pier Aquatics in Wigan. £300 for the pair.

Oh when I went in a fortnight ago, they just had m/f pairs. They must have got it on now :hyper:

Well I presumed they were a breeding pair! I seem to remember reading they were but I probably got distracted somehow. Now I come to think they had one pair with the male seperated from the female. So maybe they weren't a breding pair after all!

Would be good to get a wild pair breeding, you could make a mint out of those things! :good:

Oh I think they had only recently arrived when I saw them as he had three tanks with around 6 in each. I guess that he started to seperate them not long after. I was thinking that at the time. It would be a great breeding project. Just a shame that the initial outlay is so expensive. They are very nice Plecos though for a species only tank (probably one of my favourites).

Your right! It is a lot to invest in, imagine if you lost one? OUCH

Oh gosh and I think loosing a Cherry Shrimp every now and again is bad !!

Serious?

This is rather odd!

You can have whatever you want then, bearing in mind size constraints.

I suggest heading over to planetcatfish and looking at the cat-e-log under L numbers and narrowing the searach to say 6 inch and under.

Personally I'd use some of the cash for a bigger tank and have a colony of Hypans or Peckoltia

iv got 7 tanks now so iv sort of ran out of room for any more ill check planetcatfish out thanks for the advice :)

Where is this massive tank you had planned Dave? Come on, chop chop.
