Pleco And Snail Questions

I got myself 10 baby Bristlenose plecos today. 5 brown and 5 Albino, they range from about 0.5cm to 3cm so not expecting them all to survive with other big fish etc. Also the guy gave me 3 assassin snails.

My questions...

At what size will BN plecos pair up? And will they pair with other colours? Ie brown and albino? Also how many adults could you keep in a 3' tank? Would makes fight?

Also what is the idea behind the assassin snail? He says they kill and eat pest snails. Do they eat algae or left over food? And do they harm fish or plants? Do they breed as readily as other pest snails?

Assassins are fine, they eat maybe 1 or 2 pest snails a week tdont eat plants are they dont multiply out of control
