Pleco And Pacu

Now this is just hypothetical. I promise I don't have either of these kinds of fish of any size, nor do I have a tank big enough to support even one small Pacu, yet.

Now, first off, would a 200 USG tank be big enough for a full grown Pacu?

Second and more important question, would I be able to keep a full grown Pleco in the tank with a full grown Pacu?

Wondering because I know of one of each which needs a new home.

::edit:: And to clarify, I personally wouldn't be housing these fish in my apartment. I have no room for a 200 USG although I would LOVE it.

Well at my local fish shops they kept a large common with 3 pacu in a tank that I would saw was larger then 200 gal. The pacu were full grown and they all seemed fine together. So yes it. Would work.

Pacus are known to grow to a scary size.....dispit thier size they are quit peaceful, they would be okay to live with common plecos.

Oh I know how big they get mate this one is nearly 8 yrs old that I am referring to. Thanks for the info guys, I'll pass the good word along
