I would put this as B. xanthellus which includes L018, although I can't be 100%.

Barys are quite hard to keep although if someone has done the initial acclimatisation after export then it would be easier.

It will be a slow grower as it is hard to replicate their ideal conditions in home aquaria.

What size is your tank?

Would be going in a 500 litre setup with discus temps and a couple of other l-numbers. Not keen on getting another big plec as I just rehomed a 12 inch sailfin. How slow growing are these?

Ime, very.

Wouldn't even think twice about throwing it in a 500l.

Just make sure the water is well oxygenated with the higher temps.
