Not entirely sure what your trying to say?, the fish isn't in dispute about been real or not. Yes the claro is a real plec and is named a gold marble or claro but the dispute is weather that picture has been photoshopped. To me the glow and the sheer intensity of the colour makes it look photoshopped. ive seen these fish white like the picture but not with such a defined glow or that super white lol. Leads to it looking like it has been photoshopped.

There are a few little discrepancies within the picture.. ie the pelvic fins close up show the white tinge past the fin itself which really shouldn't be there. The other one if you blow the picture up quite high is the front by the cheeks/ hooks, it looks like they missed that little section while editing it. Take a look and just see.

hi just to let you no this is def A LDA08 CLARO also known as the golden marble ,i have 5 of these and theyre soo cute and identical in colour to the one in your first pic ..however they are like little chamelians as they do change colour depending on where abouts in the tank they are ,different things like wood or rocks make them alter their colouration ..

i also have 6 super reds one adult and 5 juvis the adult male has a full set of bristles ..and although they were very bright red when i got them as theyve aged they have also altered in colour as they do have brownish bits in them but these also seem to alter their colour ...

my common bristlenoses and bn fry change colour esp when doing water changes so it seems normal that these do also ..

hopefully i will get the super reds and my lda08 claros breeding in time ..

i will try post few pics of mine when i first got them and what they look like now ..but they are genuine ..and ohhhh sooo cute ...kaz x
