Cant remember the name of this plec on ebay but im pretty sure there is some similar in a local store for £25 and this persons price tag is way too high i dont know alot about plecs so could be wrong thats why im posting on here

Ebay item number 250211924551

Yep, it's a LDA33, Baryancistrus. Sometimes known as Schneeball or Snowball Plec

It has some other L numbers too, check Planet Catfish.

Typically you see small adults at 2-3 inches in shops for round about the 25 pound mark. This is obviously bigger plus you have the advantage of knowing it has acclimatised well to an aquarium and is eating.

Still I wouldn't be wanting to pay more than half what he is asking.

It's a pretty fish and on my wishlist one day - I think they grow quite big. 12 inches maybe? Check PC for more info.

I spotted that on ebay and mus say I was shocked as L142's in my LFS are £14 for good specimens

theres a new guy workin there and in charge of stock and he's on the plecofanatics site so he's getting plenty of L numbers ina t great prices. mY wife would kill me if she knew what I'd been buying in last few weeks!!!!

Where in the Wirral is your LFS?

I go up to see my brother and catch Tranmere matches fairly regularly so would love to check it out.

Cheers, Andy.

Its Andy's Aquatics on New Chester Rd in New Ferry. Alan is working there and big plec fan and getting all kinds of wonderful plecs in. and will order in for customer requests

Good to see the Rovers picking it up again. I've been trying to convince my son to support them and went to a good few matches but it seems Everton have won which is a pity at the price of premiership tickets!!!

Awesome, I used to live about a minute's walk from there when I was a kid, just behind the Post Office.

I will definitely be checking it out next time I'm up.

yeah, the Rovers are going very nicely, nice to see Moore junior back where he belongs
