Hi there,

My snowball plec never eats when the lights are on - however will gladly feed on all my vallis whilst the lights are off!

I have tried chucking in 2 king british algae wafers after lights out but i can just see faintly the other fishes feasting on it and the plec still isn't interested.

How can i get him to eat food and not my vallis :hyper:

Jonno.

edit: i also feed my fish bloodworm and he doesn't seem interested in that either!

Hi, I have the same problem , but he must be eating because hes getting bigger. I was thinking of getting a auto feeder so it feeds the plec a couple of hours after the lights go out. I have looked at the tank in the middle of the night because i have blue moon light and all the fish look asleep except for the plec who is cruising the tank.

What do you think?
