Hello everyone, just found these boards last night and I'm very envious ( Insert missing green-with-envy emoticon here ) of some of the setup that you guys have.
I currently have a small 12 gallon tank (tiny clown loaches - there my fav, tetras and plattys) but am just about to start a slighlty larger 20 gallon tank(I only have a small house).

I kept fish about ten years ago at uni with housemates (it was one of my housemates hobby) but we all got hooked pretty quick. It was fun watching the fish when we were relaxing and everbody commented on how cool they were.
I moved into my own house and finally got myself a tank about 3 years ago but space restrictions stopped me getting a bigger tank then. Finally thrown away a load of junk and re-arranged my living room has created space for the new tank.

Most of the stuff that I know has been down to trial and error :( but hopefully these forums will cut out some of the errors.

welcome to the forums!!!!!!!!! hope you learn what you need to know and can share some of your own trial and error experiences with us. :D (we've all been there)

:hi: to the forum.

The moment I saw your name, Thundercats came to mind, and it's been at least a year since I even thought about them, let alone saw the show. :D

As for having a small house, I know how you feel. I actually live in an apartment and have two tanks crammed into my bedroom. But you'll get so hooked on fish that you'll end up throwing more stuff away.

If you ask the right questions and read the answers and other threads, you will definitely cut down on most if not all of the mistakes you made in the past. beginner's books from the library don't hurt either. :D
