Please Show Me Your Planted Tanks

Hello all......I am looking for ideas to make my tank a proper planted one.......any chances of a few pics of yours ?

the plants need to take hold alot in some of them but you get the idea of a scape... im guessing that's what your after. if so have a read though this

well I initally set this tank up and thought it was nice, that was till I subscribed to this forum and realised it is not as nice as I thought.....I have been into marines for years, so corals etc was more my thing...went to pets at home picked up a few plants stuck it in there and thought.....wow..thats good....now that I am on here....I am thinking..........

go planted =D i personally love them. your tank looks good as it is... but id put a ton more plants in and have a nice bit of wood?... maybe lose the ship. it looks like you'v just stuck the plants in =]
im not an expert on scapeing. this forum has helped me out alot, have a read of my journal (link in comment)

the ship was NOT my idea !....but it is on the way out now....lol.....together with the black gravel.......its gonna be sand now

personally i like black gravel a lot. sands good (use Argos play sand it will save you some £,wash it though, a lot)
whats going to replace the ship?

you might want to check out the planted journal section. There's some really nice tanks in that section.

bits of bog wood and plants......got loads of bogwood....was thinking bout leaving the ship in but not having it as a focal point...more kinda like in between the plants...so you gotta look beyong the plants / bogwood to actually see it

you might want to check out the planted journal section. There's some really nice tanks in that section.

I am having a look there too mate....gotta get it right this time.....sticking your head / hands into a 31" high tank is not easy

Pardon the horrible lighting, gonna fix that come February. It doesn't look so bad in person, but horrible for photographing...

38 gallon...

75 gallon, the difference a month makes...

I started the 38 before the 75 was really finished and proceeded to ignore the 75, so it's still not finished. LOL
