Hello - I am thinking of euthanising my lovely Betta.
Please could people pop over and see my thread in beginners? I’ve posted 2-weeks-apart comparison photos - he’s so bloated and not getting any better.

I actually posted on the other thread. They are not long-lived fish and most have such a horrible 'childhood' that I would let the little guy live out his life in its comfortable home that you have provided. I personally have experienced what you are going through, many times, and it is difficult to see an older betta fade. But you will sleep well knowing that you let nature take its course.

you were right - he died last night. I’m glad I listened to everyone’s advice and didn’t continue medications. He was on the bottom of the tank on his Betta hammock which had fallen off, so I like to think he died whilst resting.
