Please Id This Hitch Hiker

After shopping for a whole heap of plants at the lfs For my new tank that is been set up.


Going though the pants, when i came accross this fish in one of the bags.

Have been trying to id it, and to no luck.

So he/she is

Dont mind my green water

How do you get a fish mixed in with plants lol? funny. Definitely a Cichlid.

I'm gonna have to say a New World Cichlid, some sort of feeder quality ram? not sure lol

Wow!! Some hitchhiker! Never seen a fish that size on plants before!
Yeah, it's definatley a cichlid - really hard to make out what one though.

African Cichlid to be exact
probably an O.B, which is highly likely to be a hybird

I bought all the plants in two tanks,and the guy at lfs just grab them out not been to careful,funny

I thought he was luckly lasting around 4 hours in the bag with not much water in them.So i guess i did well.


I been back and was tryinh to find them at the shop so no luck.


I just want to know what i got here,so i can see if he is going to be right in the 39g tank he's in.And give him a good life.

Lol my fren was lucky enuff to get a red whiptail on his java fern when he bought it from an lfs....The onli hitch hikers i got is pest snails..Haha
