Please help with Puffer confusion!!!

A member posted their pictures of their new puffers (which are awesome looking fish btw)

and is identifying them as fresh water puffers. Problem is these fish look exactly like what I've been believing are my GSP's (my avatar picture) and are about 1.5 inches and live in a salinity of 1.007....I'm so confused! My puffers are Brackish aren't they!? and yes, I've looked at this page...I am still confused.

You are not the only one. I'm even more confused now and those are my puffers.

I have emailed a couple puffer site owners, with no response yet.

I'm trying to contact some distributors and have asked my LFS to also in order to find out what are these were caught at. If I can find out where they were caught I can run down which puffer they are.
