I have two goldfishes, one light orange and one orange. The light orange fish always stays mostly at the bottom of the tank and does not move much. While the orange fish has been getting worse day by day, and now it is not really able to balance itself. I think it may have swim bladder disease. I tried giving it peas but it wouldn't eat anything. I have also decided to buy Epsom salt as through searching, I saw that epsom salt could help with swim bladder disease. However it has not arrived yet. I do not know how to help my fish anymore. Within less than 6 months, we got 4 goldfishes and two dwarf gourami and only these two are left. I really don't know what is happening. I know that people use test kits to see if there is anything wrong with their water but I didn't buy that and now we cant buy it as we are ordered to stay at home. someone please help!

What size tank?
What are your ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels?

Gourami and goldfish are not compatible, gourami are tropical fish and goldfish are not.

Do a 75% water change

My tank is quite small and as I do not have a water testing kit I do not know now to check my ammonia, nitrite and nitrate level. Also, just an update the light orange fish died yesterday.

Do 75% water changes every day

Could you take measurements of the tank and I can calculate the gallons of it?

also there are some white things one the fishes head and I saw one of it moving. idk if it is a worm. we took a video of the fish yesterday and sent it to the fish shop when it couldnt keep its balance and the fish shop sold us something called prazigold which treats internal parasites. idk if it works but after putting a few drops a it yesterday, the fish started to drag itself across the bottom of the tank in circles and today the fish has been staying at the bottom of the tank, upright and barely moving for the whole day. the shop owner also asked us to buy a heater and make the water 32 degrees Celsius and so we did but there hasnt been much improvement the fish is just breathing and resting its body at the bottom of the tank. it also has not been eating anything and is unable to swim about freely even it it ,oves it's just dragging itself using it fin and it also swims backwards. it also has a red spot near its gills but idk what that is. in addition once in a while it will start shaking uncontrollably and like lose control of its movement. this also happened to the other fish that died but idk what is the cause of it. please help

oh also before this it had fallen sick before idk if it was because the rocks that we put in were dirty but after we bought three fishes that included this fish, we put them together in a tank with some ornaments. at first, everything was fine, the fishes moved a lot and did not show any signs of sickness. however one day, the fishes suddenly had cloudy eyes and stuff and then the two fishes that came with this fish died after a few days. but this fish survived. so idk if it still is suffering from the illness it got at first but after awhile its cloudy eye went away so I thought that it was ok already.

That tank is way too small for even one goldfish. Until you can find a suitable home for it you need to do daily water changes of at least 50% - but 70% would be better. I really do mean every single day if you don't want this fish to die too.
Also add some substrate, either gravel or sand. This will stop the fish getting stressed by it own reflection and create a home for the bacteria that are needed to remove ammonia and nitrites from the water.
You should also add live plants.

This tank is too small, you should buy new tank that is suitable for him, for he time being you should fill the water all the way up.

Do a 75% daily water changes and then you need to cycle your tank to get rid of Ammonia.

cycle a tank is when you put Ammonia and Nitrite down to 0 by using Nitrosomonas bacteria to "eat" Ammonia and turn them to Nitrite then another bacteria name Nitrobacter and Nitrospira will "eat" Nitrite and turn them to Nitrate (NO3-) you can speed up the process by buying the “bacteria bottle”, also these bacterias need “places to live” substrate, filter is home for them so filter and substrate is a must as @seangee said above. You could also buy live plants, they can “absorb” Nitrate.

To treat swim bladder disease fast him for 2-3 days then feed him boiled deshelled pea, if he doesnt eat try do a epsom salt bath,
Fill a gallon bowl (or plastic container) with dechlorinated water the same temperature as her tank water. Add 1 teaspoon of epsom salt per gallon of water. Let her bath in it for 15 minutes then place her back in tank.
(The salt must be Epsom salt with no Iodine added to it)

Also @Colin_T @Deanasue @seangee please tell me im a good writer lol:rofl:
