hi i hope you can help me. i live in a new caravan which is like a bungalow. i have just bought a new 155l aqua one rv850 aquariumto go onto a built in cabinet i have. my dad is going to put some extra support in cabinet so it should hold. i did have a 60l biorb tank on this cabinet with no problems. does anyone else have a tank this size in a caravan. i hope it will hold the water as when full it will weigh around 23 stone. mind this is only the weight or around two people which the caravan holds no problem. what do you all think. i have not filled the tank until my dad puts some extra support in. what do you think

a bit extra support on he unit cant hurt
like you say the full tank will weigh around 2 people (1 litre of water weighs 1 kg)
i would be resonably confident the type of caravan home you describe can withstand the weight of two people without worry..........

Hi there:
155L is 34 imperial gallons more or less. 34 gallons is 340 pounds which is about two people as you have said. I don't think there is any issue with the "mobile (Canadian term) supporting it but just for some assurance you could get your Dad to make a base of 3/4 inch plywood the same size as the stand. This will distribute the weight over a greater area and therefore reduce the amount of weight supported by each square inch of load bearing floor.
