Nevermind, just accurately measured it.
It's about 1 and a half inches long exact.

I still think you will be ok, fingers crossed Jackiee the tank you look at later is what you are looking for.

If the aquarium does give out, will it explode? or just start dripping water?

Most like will drip in a tank that size.

Thinking about it, the pleco could have caused it. A friend once spooked hers in a tank which had thicker glass (because if was bigger) and the fish just took one push from one end of the tank to the other and went right through. That shattered, everywhere.

Wow, that's insane a Pleco could do that.

And I got my 90 gallon aquarium!
It's exactly what I was looking for and I bought it.

Found it on craigslist, get this..
90 gallon aquarium with stand, glass lids, light, gravel, driftwood, decor, two fluval 300 filters, gravel siphon, large fish net, and water conditioner for $200.



I am one happy camper right now,
and so my fishies will be as well!

Run old and new filters in parallel for 6 weeks or move all old media to new filters.
