I was walking home from school and just down the street from the school I saw a dog walking along the road. Well it came up to me, I didn't pet it but I checked its collar to see if it had any I.D., which it didn't (whats the point of making a dog wear a collar when you can't even get it some I.D.? Like come on people, its $5 to get their liscence...). The dog started walking ahead of me, checking back every once in a while to see if I was still behind him He wouldn't go back, the stupid thing. So about 25 minutes later I'm at the ball diamond and it goes off and follows two other people, towards downtown. I really hope the dog catcher picks it up, or somebody takes it in, otherwise he will probably never make it home. I felt so bad, I couldn't take him with me because I had to go straight to work and plus I was already dog-sitting another dog...of course, I'm just assuming that he was let to roam, but maybe he just got off his leash, but I just wanted to tell people to please please please not let your dog roam, this isn't the first time that I've seen a dog wandering around, it makes me sick to my stomach thinking about the fate of these poor dogs. This dog was so friendly and was well groomed and well fed, somebody probably loved him, he probably had a family. It just breaks my heart.
