no, not a monster, max size is around 4inches.

They are a very nice fish tbh and easily one of my favourite botias,
I've got one in my tank that had lived in an inch of gravel for a week, when its owner had rehomed all of the other fish and then drained its tank.

They do best when they are kept in groups btw

Goodness what an amazing story. Yes they certainly are beautiful. I have never seen one before.

At the moment he is following the Striata around, they seem to be ok together, mind you they are in a 4ft with loads of caves.

The more I see the different Botias the deeper the interest gets. They are wonderful.
