got a silver female molly and a black male molly on tuesday, both from my lfs and both from the same tank but my female keeps chasing the male, is this normal???

Female and male mollies, when it's just them two, don't get along all that great. I always buy all female mollies since they do well together.

Female+Male=Bad
Male+Male=Bad
Female+Female=Okay

I'm not sure of the ratio that they're okay together... it could be 3 females to every male... don't quote me on that. They aren't playing, but they aren't really fighting either. Just showing dominance. Unless the male shows physical injury, he should be okay.

they the black chased the white one

i looked and i looked like internal bleeding in his head since he crashed in the glass alot

The attitudes settle down some when you keep 3 or more females to each male. Also make sure there are plenty of hiding places.

thanks for all your replys guys, they have all carmed down now except my female fighter and female molly there is stil a little bit of pushing and shoving going on between them but hopefully it will settle down soon plus one of my female platies and my female molly is pregnant....babies...babies....babies
