woah thats a lot of babys! whats that fish that swims past at 1.18? it looks like a gold fish but smaller, its really nice

The only livebearers in that tank is 2 lyre swordtails, and 5 orange platys (1 of them being a pin tail)

I counted 31 in the trap, some i missed on the video editing though and there was some already in the trap before i started recording.

Cool video...and since you seem to be the livebearer expert here, let me run this one by you. I picked up a female guppy exactly 21 days ago. When I received her, she was obviously pregnant but not very far along. She has really blown up in the last week or so and her vent area is protruding as it normally would a couple of days before delivery, but it has been protruding like this for more than a week. She is evacuating as normal and still seems to have quite a healthy appetite. Is something wrong, or am I just too eager?

These pictures are of pretty poor quality and don't really show her true size or the protrusion near her vent very well. I told you I was a horrible photographer. In my defense, the subject was being rather difficult. LOL That is not her breeding box, I had to contain her for a moment to get her to hold still. The strange orange/pink area in the last pic is actually her gravid spot and not a lesion.

P.S. Sorry about the flash, it was the only way I could get a clear(yeah I know these are far from clear) picture.

I would definitly trap her for a night, she looks ready especially in picture 2, leave her in overnight and all day tomorrow (today) and see how she gets on.

If no show of fry in 24 hours, release her.
